One person is dead after a crash in Centre Wellington.
On Tuesday at around 8:30am, Wellington County OPP alongside other emergency services responded to the crash on Sideroad 11 west of Elora.
It was said a dump truck collided into a nearby hydro pole. As a result, Hydro services were also dispatched to the scene.
As a result, the driver, a 63-year-old resident of Waterloo, was pronounced deceased at scene.
Sideroad 11 between Eighth Line West and Arthur Street North was closed for several hours.
The cause of the crash remains under investigation.
