One person has been charged after an incident closed Napier Street overnight in West Perth on Friday.
On October 28th just before 7pm, Perth County OPP were called to an address in Mitchell which during the incident, a person damaged a police cruiser and uttered threats to kill the officers who responded to the scene. No injuries were reported with the accused arrested and the road reopened at around 4:30am.
A 31 year old of West Perth has been charged with Uttering Threats, Mischief Over $5000, Assault an Officer with a Weapon and Resisting a Peace Officer.
The accused was held in custody pending a bail hearing.
