One person is dead after a crash involving multiple vehicles in Mapleton.
On Thursday at around 11:30am, OPP responded with fellow emergency services to the crash on Wellington Road 12 between Wellington Road 45 and Wellington Road 86.
As a result, a 34 year old of Mapleton was pronounced dead at the scene with no other injuries being reported.
While on scene it was found there was three separate crashes on the same roadway with 8 vehicles involved.
Due to the crash and poor weather conditions, the road was closed but has since reopened. Investigation remains ongoing.
