Wellington County OPP have arrested one person after a shelter in place was put in effect on Friday.
At around 11:45pm, police were called to a home on Highway 6 just north of Arthur regarding a barricaded person.
One person was eventually arrested without issue. Highway 6 was closed between Sideroad 10 and Wells Street but has since reopened.
There was no threat to public safety as this was considered an isolated incident.
