The removal of the old water tower in Hanover is expected to start next month.
With the completion of the new water tower, the old structure has reached its end of service and will see a safe decommissioning and removal.
The project which will take around 12 weeks to complete will see crews carefully dismantle the structure in sections with the work running Monday-Fridays between 7am-7pm.
Residents and businesses in the area will notice increased activity around the project site but minimal disruption is expected.
Temporary water infrastructure may be installed over the course of the project for the continued safe removal process.
