The Guelph-Wellington Paramedic Services Community Paramedicine Long-Term Care project will be heading to Drayton.

Wellington County council has agreed to enter a three year lease agreement with paramedic services to use the old county public works garage in Drayton to house the long-term care project.

The long-term care project leverages skills and expertise of paramedics to work alongside local health agencies and provide needed support for their clients.

The project currently is based out of the Harriston Fire Hall but is scheduled to end March 31st.

Before the project can move into the public works garage in Drayton, around $100,000 worth of renovations must be made to need the demands of the paramedic service.
