Parking ticket fines are going up in St Marys.
A new bylaw, the fines which was originally $20 for most parking violations will now jump to $50 and a set fine of $30 will increase to $70.
The new by-law, approved on May 9th will take effect on August 1st which allows off-road vehicles on locally operated streets between 7am-10pm.
The new increase in parking fines to help cover the administrative costs of issuing and processing parking violations.
