In todays day and age, having a strong and reliable internet connection is a must for both work and pleasure.
The Ontario Federation of Agriculture has highlighted that issue as many farmers and rural residents have shared their input on a recent survey. Unreliable internet which has caused an inability to conducting normal business practices has been an issue to the 62 percent of those surveyed.
For farmers, 53 percent said they have greatly increased the internet and digital technology on their farms.
Many rural farmers need a strong enough internet connection to run some of their digital technologies on their farm equipment which many have said has been hit and miss.
