Support has not slowed down at all for North Perth Westfields campaign towards upgrading and getting new equipment at the playground.
In the first month of fundraising, support from individuals, businesses and organizations has rallied to $50,000.
This fundraising will ensure upgrades and new equipment as organizers look to continue their goal for more equipment.
Lori Versluis says the next phase looks into more expansion for equipment.
“Because we are doing so well we are right away looking at everything. So in our 2nd phase we are looking at climbing and spinning structures, more swing sets, picnic tables. We’re looking at an outdoor learning space” said Versluis.
