North Perth council will look into a proposed increase to taxi rates at tonight’s meeting.
A meeting on November 8th was held regarding the topic with certain issued rising from owners with Listowel Taxi and TJ’s Taxi such as increased cost for gasoline, insurance and new minimum wage.
Under current writing, if passed the bylaw to raise prices would take effect December 1st. The last increase in taxi tariffs was seen on June 2nd in 2015.
