The Municipality of North Perth reminded residents that in accordance with By-Law 56-AD-2001 fireworks are only permitted on two occasions per year in the area.
The days are Victoria Day and Canada Day. They add that igniting fireworks at any other time during the year is a contravention of the by-law and those found responsible could be subject to fines.
