The Municipality of North Perth issued an update on School Crossings & Crossing Guards just ahead of students return to class next week.
In the post they want to remind drivers & cyclists to be cautious of walking students and say to always follow the rules stated in the Highway Traffic Act when approaching crosswalks.
The Intersections of Main St East & Nichol Ave will have crossing guards from 8 until 9 in the morning and 3 until 4 in the afternoon.
Wallace Ave South & Hutton will have them from 8:15 until 9:15 in the morning and 3:10 until 4:10 in the afternoon.
The Main Street West and North Perth Trail has signalized intersection lights and pedestrians are asked to press the button when they cross.
