Both Perth and Wellington counties will be receiving over $800,000 to improve on public transit.
The funding is part of the province’s Gas Tax program which has allocated $375.6 million to 107 municipalities which offer public transit.
MPP for Perth-Wellington, Randy Pettapiece says many people rely on public transit in the region and funding will help boost transit services across the area.
North Perth will be receiving $80,000.
