The Municipalities of North Perth, Perth East, West Perth and Perth County jointly announced that after consultation with the Huron Perth Medical Officer of Health they all exited the declared State of Emergency as of 9am this morning.
It was first declared across the region two years ago in April 2020.
It was a tool used by Municipalities to ensure they were able to rapidly respond to a crisis and provide necessary services during unforeseen events.
Each municipality say they would like to thank their citizens for their continued efforts to help stop the spread of Covid-19.
