The Municipality of North Perth are looking for residents who are interested in becoming an agent for change in the community.
They are holding a Connectedness Coaching Education Program on Wednesday, October 20th from 1 to 4pm.
The 3 hour online zoom workshop teaches participants the entry level training for volunteers of the Lonely No More Program.
It is something anyone interested in joining their team is urged to participate in.
Spots are also open to community members who are interested in learning about positively impacting social isolation.
You will learn new skills such as coaching conversations, how to provide peer support and how to help others navigate and find the resources they need.
