In light of tragic discovery of the graves of 215 indigenous children in Kamloops BC on the site of a former residential school communities around Canada are working on trying to bring light to the troubling past of our country.
The North Perth Public Library has compiled a list of books aimed at teaching children up to age 12 about Canada’s residential school system and help start the discussion.
