North Perth is reinforcing its firefighters from occupational cancer risks.
The municipality has purchased some equipment from the Firefighter Protection Grant with Enhanced Decontamination Equipment for the Atwood Fire Station, ensuring North Perth’s three stations are equipped with advanced gear cleaning systems.
An SCBA decon/washer will be installed at the Listowel Station.
On Scene Decontamination Equipment has also been purchased as well as various PPE upgrades.
