The North Perth Fire Department, through Manager of Development & Protective Services and Fire Chief Janny Pape, have suspended issuing burn permits until further notice.
The reason behind the move is current local conditions.
The Department says the move is effective immediately and they appreciate the cooperation of the public.
The move follows similar decisions by both Huron & Bruce County.
