Warmer weather has many residents getting more hyped for the long summer nights.
Already many across the region and out have started busting out the bbqs and having backyard fires with the warmer weather sticking around. While enjoyable, fire safety is always key to remember.
Jason Benn, Assistant Fire Chief for the North Perth Fire Department says its always important you keep your fire far away from anything which could quickly spread a flame.
“The distance is 25 feet from anything that can burn or is combustible. That could be sheds, fences, bushes, trees, decks. Stuff of that nature.’ said Benn
