The North Perth Earlyon Child & Family Centre shared a fun play & move activity to have fun with your young children entitled “Guess the Scent”.
They say to choose pleasant familiar scents for children to guess.
They advise that liquids or oils can be dripped onto a cotton ball for easier handling.
Older children can even use blind folds or covered containers to make the game harder.
Examples of scents to try include hot chocolate, cinnamon, vanilla, oranges, pie spices, mint or candy canes, dryer sheets or coffee beans.
