In Mondays council meeting, CAO Kris Snell brought forward the Community Safety and Well-Being Plan.
The joint project alongside the City of Stratford, St Marys and North, South, East and West Perth is aimed towards reducing risks and improving safety and well-being for all residents in the county.
North Perth Mayor Todd Kasenberg was curious if the plan could specifically target North Perth for its own issues which Snell says is a possibility.
“There will not be separate plans for each of the communities…but certainly can still set the priorities using the plan. Going forward we can set our own priorities and almost just reset our priorities on a local level.” said Snell
Council will revisit the Community Safety and Well-Being Plan at a future council meeting.
