For the time being, trustees with the Avon Maitland District School Board have put the proposed boundary adjustment in North Perth on hold until later this month.
Superintendent Cheri Carter says the consultants report has much information but there is no clear consensus from parents on which options proposed is preferred.
Carter adds most have said to just do nothing but she says this isn’t an option as they need to find a way to create more space to address the growing population in the area.
Carter says she believes the trustees need more time to review the information and make sure they understand what the community is saying and what staff says before a decision can be made.
