North Perth has approved its Transportation Master Plan and with it comes what has been highly requested from residents, a truck bypass.
The new master plan is expected to guide the municipality until 2041 and will act as a road map for implementing needed policy, program and infrastructure improvements in North Perth.
For the truck bypass its estimated this run a cost of $16,545,000 with a recommendation to take this in a phased approach and intended on diverting east-west traffic to the south of town.
Also included in the TMP is new pedestrian and cycling routes.
