The Township of North Huron issued an update to its residents of a change to flat rate water and sewer billing beginning January 1st.
The motion was passed back in September and will see it impact all residential properties in the Municipality.
The transition will see the final metered bill received in early January, flat rate billing begin January 1st and invoice received in early February, and water meters to remain installed but no longer be used for billing purpose as of January 1st.
Tenant agreements will be discontinued as of the same date with water and sewer invoices sent directly to property owners starting with the first flat-rate invoice in January.
