Eat Local Huron, a non-profit cooperative committed to delivering locally grown produce to the doorsteps of Huron County has faced a tragedy.
The group saw a fire at their warehouse damage not only their facility but also an entire load of fresh produce set for delivery the next day.
There has been a GoFundMe setup to help try and raise funds for the repairs to the facility. Insurance will likely cover the cost of the food but likely not the improvements made to the warehouse facility.
