Operations will continue for Canada Post but customers could be facing delays due a union imposed ban to limit workers to just eight hour shifts.
The Canadian Union for Postal Workers made an immediate nationwide overtime ban, directing members to only work 40 hours per week.
Canada Post says at this time there will be no rotating strikes or national work stoppages.
This all comes after Canada Post met with the Union last night to continue contract negotiation talks but the meeting only lasted 30 minutes with no meaningful progress made.
