More measures have been approved to improve the RIDE WELL program in Wellington County.
A committee during Tuesdays economic development committee meeting approved adding more vehicle hours, group bookings to Guelph and increased marketing for the ride sharing program.
Ride Well, similar to UBER is a government funded pilot program until March of next year.
The new measures are being funded from the base funding and partially through funding awarded by the Ministry of Transportation to help the county complete the pilot project.
The new measures should begin in July but first will need to be ratified by Wellington County council at a meeting later this month.
