A new Foodland grocery store will be making its way to Mount Forest.
Wellington North council has signed a site agreement between the township and Sobeys, which owns Foodland for the development of the grocery store in Mount Forest.
The multi phase development will see the not only the store established but also a parking lot design and separate horse and buggy entrance.
Some issues have been raised such as traffic concerns but proposals have been made to include an intersection on Main Street and Mount Forest Drive to have traffic signals to better deal with the flow of traffic.
