In a test of almost 45,000 people, Pfizer test of a COVID-19 vaccine is proving more than 90% effective.
The data is coming following their recent trial. The company saying in a release its a first but critical step in the work to deliver a safe and effective vaccine. Pfizer is expected to produce 50 million doses this year with 1.3 billion into next year.
Canada currently has a signed deal to acquire at least 20 million doses of this vaccine. The vaccine requires two doses per person.
