New COVID-19 Modelling Shows Drop in Cases and Halt in Long-Term Care

UK variant poses threat, long-term care cases are down

New COVID-19 modelling data shows some positives.

While Ontarios COVID-19 cases are starting to drop in province, officials are still concerned about the UK variant of the virus which can pose a significant threat to stopping the ongoing pandemic. Data showed the numbers drop at the start of the lockdown on December 26th, dropping further when stay-at-home orders were brought in.

Data also showing cases in long-term care homes have started decline but deaths also are on the rise, 215 deaths in long term care were reported last week.
