This year National Nursing week runs from May 10th-16th, falling on the same day of International Nurses Day on May 12th.
The Huron-Perth Healthcare Alliance employees 497 nurses between 4 of their sites in Clinton, St Marys, Seaforth and Stratford.
The Canadian Nurses Association has gone to social media to encourage others to share their stories as nurses or for anyone to help create awareness about National Nursing Week.
Everyone is encouraged to use a series of hashtags such #IKnowANurse and #NationalNursingWeek.
The theme for this years Nursing Week is #WeAnswerTheCall
