United Way Perth Huron is gearing closer on their goal for the Music Hall Apartments project in Listowel.
With a goal of $705,000, United Way has already reached $529,031 for the project which utilities the vacant upper floor of a downtown Listowel building to provide 10 mixed income rental units on Main Street West.
The apartments include 4500 square feet of currently unused space with a finished project to encompass a mix of market rate, moderately priced workforce units and deeply affordable units.
Kathy Vassilakos, Director of United Housing says raising these funds in addition to the money already raised through the Community Bond campaign is critical to the projects completion.
