It was a busy long weekend for all OPP across the province.
Seven vehicle occupants, a pedestrian and three off road vehicle riders were killed across all OPP jurisdictions marking a rather tragic long weekend on the roads.
The long weekend campaign, dubbed Operation Impact saw 4902 speeding charges laid, 133 racing, 85 fines for distracted driving with 388 seat belt fractions.
In total OPP across the province laid 8870 traffic related charges from October 11th-14th.
Police say complying with all traffic laws goes a long way to preventing crashes, injuries and death both on and off the road.
