The Multicultural Association of Perth-Huron will be hosting a multicultural festival tomorrow at the Listowel Memorial Park.
The festival will feature a wide range of things to see and do including international foods as well as hamburgers and hot dogs. Live music from around the world will be played including Indian and contemporary country.
Geza Wordofa, from the Multicultural Association says the celebration is to say thanks to the community and be blessed to be welcomed warmly to Canada.
“We are celebrating Canada. We are here in this wonderful country, we are so blessed. Its a wonderful time to get together and appreciate this community. ” said Wordofa
Donations are also being accepted to support the Multicultural Association Programs and Initiatives to help support newcomers in the area.
The festival runs from 4-9pm on Saturday.
