The Multicultural Association of Perth-Huron has served many in the region settle into Canada.
Over the past year they have also set their focus on battling COVID-19 and cleaning the community.
The multicultural association has helped over 9000 people get to vaccine appointments and to get tested for COVID-19. The group is currently working on its newest initiative, cleaning up masks and other garbage from town to town.
According to officials, over 12,000 discarded masks have been picked up off the ground across the region.
