On April 6th at around 11pm, Wellington County OPP responded to a residence on Egremont Street in Mount Forest.
It was reported a person was threatened with an edged weapon and the suspect had fled the area.
The following day at around 12am, OPP responded to an injured person on Albert Street with a person being stabbed and suffering serious but non life threatening injuries.
As a result a 31 year old of Mount Forest has been charged with Assault Causing Bodily Harm, Assault with a Weapon Two Counts of Uttering Threats, Possession of a Weapon for Dangerous Purpose and Two Counts to Failing to Comply with a Probation Order.
The accused was held for bail.
