It’s another emergency department closure at the Louise Marshall Hospital in Mount Forest for the weekend.
North Wellington Health Care says the closure is a result of staffing shortages which will affect September 16th at 6am and September 18th at 7am.
This closure marks the 2nd time in as many weeks for the hospital’s emergency department to be closed and the 4th time over the last 2 months.
Residents are asked to call 911 if they have a medical emergency with ambulances re-routing to the nearest open emergency department.
