This Sunday, September 11th the Moorfield community will be saying goodbye to the United Church that has served the community since 1868 is set to close.
The closing service starting at 10:30 am will be a time of reflection and memories of a church family that is said to have been a part of the Moorefield community for many generations.
There will be a luncheon following the service.
Anyone who has been a part of the church’s history is invited to join them in worship, to say goodbye, and also to say hello to a new beginning as James Street United Church in Palmerston.
