A new mobile CT unit has arrived at the Groves Memorial Community Hospital in Fergus.
The Wellington Health Care Alliance says this is just a temporary solution to ensure CT imaging services can stay at the hospital while they replace the existing CT Scanner with a new model.
The hospital’s current CT Scanner has been serving for almost 16 years and has reached the end of its life service with a new CT Scanner offering enhanced image quality and more precise data to help physicians.
Groves Memorial Hospital performs around 6000 CT exams every year.
