Mitchell’s dog park is getting a face lift and residents are invited to come and help out.
The dog park off Wellington Street beside West Perth’s wetlands is getting some growth of trees and native shrubs planted around the park.
West Perth’s Environment, Forestry and Trails Committee are planting 25 native trees and 30 shrubs nearby to aid in wind protection, shelter from nearby and new ball diamonds and have a diverse landscape to explore.
Residents can volunteer and help plant shrubs and trees on April 29th at 11am with those wanting to help asked to bring a shovel.
