Huron County OPP has laid criminal charges against a Wingham resident following a mischief occurrence that took place in Wingham last weekend.
Shortly after 8pm on May 28th Huron OPP officers received a call from a witness that reported a suspect was walking up and down Josephine Street spray painting various street signs, street lights and store fronts.
An officer responded to the area and was able to locate the suspect. The accused was taken into custody and ultimately charged.
A 28 year old male of Wingham has been charged with 6 counts of Mischief under $5000.
The accused has since been released from custody with a court date scheduled for July 5th at the Ontario Court of Justice in Goderich.
