A Wingham resident is facing mischief & failure to comply with probation order charges following a recent incident that took place in Wingham.
On February 9th at approximately 3:28pm Huron County OPP officers responded to Angus Street in Wingham in relation to an individual that was observed damaging two parked cars. In one instance the accused smashed out a taillight and a window on a sport utility vehicle. In the other the accused smashed a window out of a compact car.
The suspect was identified and later that evening taken into custody without incident.
A 33 year old female from Wingham has been charged with 2 counts of mischief under $5000 and 2 counts of failure to comply with a probation order. The accused has been released from custody and schedule to appear in a Goderich court on March 22nd.
