Police looking for assistance after mischief at Palmerston Business

Approximately 20 unplated cars had windows and windshields smashed

This morning just after 8 am the Wellington County OPP received a report of mischief that had occured at a business located on King Street in Palmerston.

Investigation revealed that sometime between May 28th and June 3rd unknown suspects entered onto the property and smashed the windows and windshields of approximately 20 vehicles. Fire extinguishers were used to cause the damage to the vehicles.

The vehicles were unplated and either for scrap, antique orĀ  for sale.

Fireworks were also set off in the area during the period of time.

The total value of the damage is in excess of $20,000.
