As the Town of Minto is gearing up for its Welcome Week for new residents in the area, recent welcome events in Clifford and Palmerston have been canceled.
The Harriston Newcomers event on September 16th will act as one for the entirety of Minto at the Harriston-Minto Community Centre.
Various groups, churches and businesses will be attending for new residents to learn more about the area as well as pick up any recycling and organic bins if they have not yet already acquired theirs.
The event is geared towards newcomers to learn more about the community and various groups within the area.
