Many gathered in Harriston last night to stand in solidarity against hate.
This all took place following a tiktok video posted online originated from Harriston with disturbing references to the London attack which killed 4 Muslims and left a 9 year old in hospital with serious injuries.
Masks were worn with social distancing in place throughout the evening walk in the town.
A tree planting took place with everyone invited to post messages denouncing racism and handing out purple ribbons.
