The Minto Cultural Roundtable, alongside concerned citizens, the Town of Minto and Wellington County have all planned a Solidarity March to stand against hate.
The planned march is in response to a video posted to TikTok with disturbing references to London attack earlier this month which resulted in 4 deaths. The video was later found to originate in Harriston.
Both Minto Mayor George Bridge and Centre Wellington Mayor Kelly Linton have released statements on the incident.
The march will be hosted tonight at 7pm starting the Harriston Arena Ball Diamond. Those attending are asked to wear green and purple to show support.
