The Town of Minto is receiving $4,462,125 from the province’s Housing Enabling Water Systems Fund which will directly support the reconstruction of Wellington Road 123 – Main Street West in Palmerston.
This project is a major piece of infrastructure which will enable the creation of 1447 new homes in the community.
The reconstruction will see not only a revitalization of a main corridor in Palmerston but support both residential development and economic vitality.
Mayor Dave Turton says this funding will go a long way in enabling much needed housing growth.
