The Town of Minto is getting some provincial funding to support the installation of a standby generator at the Palmerston Community Centre.
Perth-Wellington MPP Matthew Rae announced $48,800 was put forward to purchase and install a standby generator, concrete pad and transfer switch for the community centre.
Rae says the funding helps ensure our communities are safe and prepared for any situation making note of this past winter, flooding or any number of unforeseen disasters, Rae says we know that we have measures in place to protect our communities.
