Public Works and Community Service staff in Minto are moving to a four day work week for the summer.
Minto council gave the approval for the pilot project on May 9th.
The plan will see public works staff split into teams to ensure proper service.
One shift will work Monday-Thursday 6am-4:30pm with another shift working the same hours from Tuesday-Friday.
The work week will still keep at 40 hours.
The 4 day work week will only apply for the summer and not be used in the winter.
Minto will follow other townships such as Zorra, Wellesley and Aylmer who have adopted 4 day work weeks.
