Minto is getting a boost for their holiday themed lights in Palmerston Lions Park.
The Bright Lights & Festive Nights project was selected as part of the My Main Street Community Activator initiative and has received support for the light installation.
Lions Park will now have six additional holiday themed lights to enhance the displays already installed in the park by the Palmerston Lions Club.
Marketing and Community Development Coordinator, Erin Raftis says you could ask any volunteer in Minto who would say the holidays are a busy time in the community and this support will allow them to showcase the warmth, charm and holiday spirit of the community for visitors near and far.
